During this delivery event you will experience the joy of giving a bed to a child. For some, it will be their very first bed ever. Our hope is that their smiles and hugs will provide you all the motivation you need to complete the delivery and want to come back again. The event starts at our warehouse where you will be checked in and assigned to a delivery team. Your team will be led by one of our trained SHP Delivery Leaders who will guide you as you load up all the bed parts, a new mattresses and bedding for each new bed. Once you are loaded up, your team will drive to the first home where your leader will provide instructions on what to do, it's simple… First, you load in all the bed parts. Next, your leader will show you how to assemble the beds. *** IF the boys and girls want to help you put the bed together, by all means let them help! *** Finally, you will put on the new mattress and make each bed using the new bedding. You'll wrap up the delivery by snapping a few pictures with you and your team or better yet with the kids. ***Check with your team leader to make sure the parent/guardian have given written consent*** We encourage you to share your experience on your socials. Do not post shirtless children! Get ready for a very rewarding, heart tugging, tear jerking experience. Wear closed toe shoes. No tools or experience necessary. Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by a relative or adult friend. You are helping end child bedlessness one bed at at time. How rewarding is that?!?! See you soon! :)
