Emergency Response Volunteer Roster Interest
Thank you so much for your interest in CORE’s mission and our Emergency Response Volunteer Roster. We are really excited to meet you and are thankful you’re here!
CORE started in 2010 after the Haitian earthquake and has been working to meet the growing needs of vulnerable communities worldwide since. CORE focuses on responding to natural disasters, conflict, food insecurity, disease outbreaks, climate change, and public health emergencies. Being on the roster will open you up to opportunities to serve across the United States as CORE responds to floods, tornadoes, and wildfires, just to name a few.
Over the last year we have responded to Hurricane Helene, the Los Angeles Wildfires and the Central Texas Flooding. Each of these responses were unique in their own way as CORE’s mission is to listen to the needs of the community and adapt our response model to fill gaps.
We are seeking volunteers for our Emergency Response Volunteer Roster to provide essential support during emergency operations. This includes physical labor mucking and gutting homes and completing debris removal, ensuring timely and efficient supply distribution, assisting survivors, and helping in various capacities as the situation demands.
Being a volunteer roster member demands flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of response operations.
