At SHP, we fully believe that a bed is a basic need for the proper physical, emotional and mental support that a child needs. The Build Event is an opportunity to build/assemble/stain bed frames for future delivery to children in need, transforming the raw materials into bed frames that are ready to be installed in a child's home. The Build Event runs 3 to 3.5 hours, and includes multiple stations (sanding, cutting, drilling, assembling, staining, etc) that participants can engage in to assist with the production of beds. We’re a national organization answering the call to a national problem.
