Since its inception in 1986, the Texas Adopt-A-Beach program has witnessed the dedication of over 567,000 volunteers who have collectively removed more than 9,800 tons of trash from Texas shores. Astonishingly, some of this waste has traveled from as far as South America! Our mission goes beyond just cleaning up for GBF; it’s about preserving and enhancing Galveston Bay as a healthy and productive place for generations to come.
