As a volunteer, you’ll be part of a compassionate community dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of pets and the people who love them. We offer a variety of ways to get involved — from spending time with cats, enjoying walks with dogs, to helping behind the scenes — there’s a place for everyone! Volunteer Roles: Volunteers support our mission in meaningful ways, including: • Cat Interaction – Spend quality time with cats, helping them feel relaxed and confident. • Dog Walking – Give dogs exercise, attention, and socialization that supports their wellbeing. • Community Outreach – Represent HHS at events and help spread the word about our work. • Administrative Support – Assist with projects that keep our programs running smoothly. How to Become a Volunteer: We’re excited to welcome you! Just follow these steps: Step 1: Complete this volunteer application. Step 2: After submitting, you’ll receive a link to complete a background check (required for volunteers 18+). Step 3: Once that’s complete, you’ll be invited to attend a Volunteer Orientation where you’ll learn how everything works and get started!
