Breathe Southern California and the City of Alhambra are partnering to host a tree planting event. Volunteers will plant native, drought-tolerant trees in parks and parkways prioritized for heat vulnerability. This event addresses extreme heat and poor air quality caused by urban heat islands and rising temperatures. Carefully selected trees will provide shade, cooling, and long-term climate resilience for the community.
