Volunteers will assist park staff in our ongoing efforts to convert our invasive grasslands back to a native coastal scrub habitat. Volunteers can expect to assist with sheet mulching efforts to prepare areas for native planting this winter, and invasive species removal (ex. mustards/hemlocks/thistles/Harding Grass) to prepare areas for native seed dispersal. Revegetation activities will help improve and expand habitat for our local wildlife, including the endangered San Francisco Garter Snake and threatened Red-Legged Frog.
