Our youth interns on the Green Team are planning a community activation for place-making at the site of our proposed future floodable park. The event will include invasive removal, native planting, community art making, and other activities to turn this 1 acre abandoned lot into a park. The ultimate goal will be to make this area at the base of the watershed into a park that can hold water during storms to prevent downstream flooding.
