We are erecting a Peace Pole at the high school in collaboration with the local Rotary Club. As part of the installation, we're planning to plant a surrounding garden with native plants. Our goal is to create for the neighborhood a contemplative space that offers hope for the future, education about native plants, and helps reduce the heat island effect of the adjacent parking lot.
