Alturas Sunrise Rotary members have been working on removing fire-prone invasive species and replacing them with native plants on the crowder flat trail, very close to Alturas. This is a great opportunity to partner and further this project. This trail promotes health and well being close to town and is a barrier road between federal land and private homes in the wildland-urban interface. We will also conduct a trail cleaning as there is occasional dumping near the trail as well as trash blow-out from vehicles.
